Description of the Small Project:
The project addresses the increasing threat of cybercrime targeting critical infrastructure in the region, focusing on programme area. Many organizations in the programme area lack the resources and expertise to defend against sophisticated cyber-attacks, and non-EU countries face challenges in aligning with EU-level cybersecurity standards. The common challenge is to strengthen cybersecurity resilience across borders, including in non-EU countries, by enhancing real-time monitoring and protection for critical IT infrastructures. The challenge and risk that the project seeks to reduce relates to cybercrime, which knows no borders and is realized in such a way that cybercriminals from the countries of the program area commit criminal acts in the entire program area, therefore the joint struggle of business entities from the program area has a positive effect on a more effective fight against cybercrime, because in this way all 3 FRs involved in the project through the service that is being developed and provided will work together to prevent cybercrime.

The main objective of the project is development of competitiveness and sustainability of micro and small enterprises (SMEs) through reducing the impact of cybercrime on business operations in programme area which will be provided through establishing an international Security Operations Center (SOC) network by connecting three SOCs across countries from programme area.

By achieving overall objective of the project cybersecurity capabilities will be improved, 24/7 protection of IT infrastructure will be enable, and extending the reach of EU standards especiallly NIS2 Directive within non-EU countries. The expected change in current situation of programme area is a significant reduction in cyber crime risks, faster response to reduce or detect cyber crime, improvement in cyber protection of critical sectors, formation of a unique service by which business entities meet the conditions for obtaining ISO 27001 standards.

Outputs/Deliverables:

3 SOC established - Three interconnected Security Operations Centres (SOCs) ensuring 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring and protection and joint action to eliminate and detect cybercrime as a main output of this Project. Each of FR will establish one SOC in their Country (CRO, MNE, BiH).

3 Video wall established - Video walls to monitor the security of client infrastructures in real-time. Realtime monitoring via video walls in each SOC improves visibility and quickens threat detection. Each of FR will establish one video wall in their SOC.

3 SIEM software implemented - Implementing advanced Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems across the SOCs, with real-time threat intelligence sharing, sets a new standard in the region.
Three new inovative SIEM softwares licences capable of creating a trap IT infrastructure to divert cyber-attacks away from real systems. Software is also capable for detecting threats before they disrupt operations.
Each of FR will implemented one SIEM software in their SOC.

1 Central server - Central server, acquired by EGIDA Security Solution, linking all SOCs. EGIDA’s central server will facilitate seamless communication among SOCs, ensuring coordinated monitoring and response.

3 Conference - Three conferences (one in Croatia, one in Bosnia, and one in Montenegro). Each FR will host one conference in their respective countries to present the SOCs and project results to local clients and stakeholders. These conferences will demonstrate the SOC capabilities, share project progress, and foster collaboration.
